Anoop Nambiath

Evolving value picker, top notch analytical skills, widely read

A passionate follower of value investing, Mr. Anoop brings with him a thorough understanding of accounting and investing fundamentals, along with an eye for detail in analysing companies. Before joining Equity Intelligence, he worked with Moody’s Analytics (then Amba Research) and Tata Consultancy Services. He is a CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute USA, has a PGDM (Finance) from IMT Ghaziabad, and is a Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering from GEC Thrissur. He is an avid reader with a keen interest in various aspects of equity investing and capital markets.

Ramakrishnan V

Seasoned value picker with a broad range of business experience

A market veteran with nearly three decades’ experience in equity investing, Mr. Ramakrishnan brings with him his sharp acumen to identify multi-bagger investment ideas early. Prior to Equity Intelligence, he was the Vice President for Institutional Sales at Kotak Securities Ltd., where he spent 22 years in sell-side equity research and has also worked with Canbank Mutual Fund. He has a Master's in Financial Management from the  Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and is a Bachelor of Commerce from Kerala University. He has completed his MDP on Equity Research from ICFAI and the Programme on Portfolio Management from IIM Ahmedabad.

George John

Budding Value Investor and a keen learner

A budding value investor, part of the new breed of investors inspired by the success stories of the Indian stock market. He was part of Deloitte India's consulting practice prior to joining Equity Intelligence. He has cleared CFA Level 2 from the CFA Institute USA, has an MBA from IIT Kharagpur, and is a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur (GECT). Companies with a sustainable competitive advantage and innovative business models excite him. He strives to marry the classic value investment principles of the legends with the Indian street-smart style of investing.

Reuben Mathews

All-Rounder. Simple, yet unconventional

A bottom-up approach is his style in both investing and life. He had worked with Ernst & Young and KPMG before joining Team EQ. He graduated from Baylor University in Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Having completed the FRM programme(US) and cleared the CFA Level 2 from CFA Institute USA, he focuses on fundamental analysis, starting with an understanding of the company and its prospects. Equity investing is something he enjoys learning and reading about.

A key member of the operations team, Ms. Litty is a logical and detail-oriented person focused on improving the organization’s systems and processes. She holds a bachelor's degree in polymer technology from M.G. University and has previously worked for the Federal Bank.

Rose James

Diligent & Determined

A Chartered Accountant with nearly a decade of expertise in her profession. She has been part of Team EQ since 2015. She is highly diligent in ensuring timely compliance in both indirect and direct taxation domains. She takes great care to produce flawless results and is very meticulous in her work.

Priya Menon

Smart, fun-loving hodophile

A mathematics graduate with 17 years of experience in EQ PMS operations. 

She holds herself to a high standard of performance and is very organized and detail-oriented.

Betsy James

Jovial and innovative; get things done

Ms. Betsy has been an integral part of the Equity Intelligence operations team for more than a decade now. Prior to joining Equity Intelligence, she was with Kotak Securities. With an MBA in finance and a Bachelor of Commerce, she has exhibited a keen interest in managing office functions proactively and efficiently with her innovative ideas. Her jovial disposition makes her the most approachable member of the team.

Dean Frank

Fast learner, adaptable to change

A commerce graduate pursuing CA(Final) with over 7 years of accounting experience. He is one of the newest and fastest-learning members of the EQ team.

Uma Namboodiri

Go getter, wanderlust, foodie and movie-buff

A law graduate with over 14 years’ experience in HR, telecom, and CRM domains, Ms. Uma has been part of the EQ CRM team since 2014. She has an eye for details and an uncompromising approach to client relationship etiquette. She has been very enthusiastic about servicing client queries and has immensely contributed to shaping up the EQ CRM team by ensuring that various processes and best practices are in place. She is a perfectionist and a team player, and she believes that having a good work-life balance requires working in a field that you enjoy and in which you are constantly learning.

Jinni Sundrani

Ambitious & focused

A postgraduate in mass communication and public relations, Ms. Jinni had 7 years of brokerage and 3 years of banking experience prior to joining Equity Intelligence in 2016. She is a quick learner, has an immense liking for the equity markets, and has carved out an inevitable niche for herself in the EQ CRM team. A proven team player with a never-ending urge to learn, she sees challenges as opportunities and looks for new learning experiences every day.

Albia Joseph

Affable and Self-Driven

An economics graduate pursuing a PGD in Human Resource Management. With an experience of over 7 years, she is a client relations savant and has also skillfully handled various roles in the PR industry before starting her journey with Equity Intelligence in 2017. She is adept at the CRM function of Equity Intelligence and loves modeling as a hobby. Paying close attention to the nuances of every client requirement and ensuring address is her forte.

Anila Chandran

Ms. Anila has always wanted to work in finance, and she paved the way for her to pursue the ACCA after completing her bachelor's degree in commerce. Before joining the EQ team, she had brief stints at EY and KPMG Kuwait, as well as a career in accounting. Her positive attitude drives her to learn and improve new skills. She can communicate with and relate to people easily. She appreciates the fact that working in a boutique investment firm has allowed her to develop skills and knowledge of the financial world.

Soumya Sabu

Calm & Devoted

A postgraduate in commerce with 5 years of experience in EQ Client Relations. She joined as an Executive Client Relation Manager and has been mostly involved in establishing effective client relationships. She has also developed a superior understanding of customer relationships and has been a part of EQ PMS operations. A talented singer, she loves to experiment with different voice combinations.
